At Wollaton Auto Centre, we offer both interim and full servicing, with all work carried out in line with your manufacturer’s service schedule to keep your warranty intact.

What’s covered during a service

A service is a scheduled check of your car’s key components, designed to catch developing issues before they become bigger problems and keep your vehicle running safely and efficiently.

Interim service

An interim service is recommended at 6-month or 6,000-mile intervals, and suits drivers who cover higher mileage or want extra peace of mind between full services. It includes a check of:

• Horn, climate control and seatbelt condition
• Front and rear washers and wiper blades
• Instruments and warning lights
• Brake fluid, coolant and engine oil levels and condition
• Battery condition and drive belt tension
• Tyre depth and condition on all four wheels
• Front and rear lighting

Full service

A full service is more comprehensive and is recommended annually, or every 12,000 miles, in line with most manufacturer schedules. Alongside everything included in an interim service, it also covers checks on:

• Front and rear brake pads, discs and handbrake condition
• Steering and suspension wear
• Drive link condition
• Exhaust system condition
• Windscreen chips and cracks
• Spare wheel, lock nut and wheel alignment
